ALASKA GOLD: Adventures Seeking the Yellow Metal
presented by Jim Miller
Jim Miller is a professional geological engineer, a recreational gold prospector, an avid rockhound, and a well-known flintknapper. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geological engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Science degree in environmental geology from the University of Illinois. He recently retired from GeoEngineers, Inc., where he was one of the founding employees in 1980. He served as President, and later Chairman, of that company between 1993 and 2007. Jim is a member of the Maplewood Rock & Gem Club in Edmonds and is the current President of the Northwest Geological Society.

The club meets on the first Tuesday of each month (except July and August) at 7:00 p.m. We meet at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 14230 Newport Way, Bellevue, WA 98006

Dues: $7.00 per member.
Membership dues are for the period of the calendar year, January 1 through December 31, Dues paid from October1 to December 31 are valid for the following year.
